Thiruvananthapuram > Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan congratulated the Malayali athletes who won medals in Commonwealth Games triple jump event. The Chief Minister congratulated Malayalee athletes Eldos Paul and Abdullah Abu Bakar, who became the pride of all of us by winning gold and silver medals.
Eldos won gold by jumping 17.03 meters in the final. Abdulla Abu Bakar, a Malayali, jumped 17.02 meters and won the silver. Another Indian player, Praveen Chitrawal, came fourth. Bermuda’s Perinchief Jah-Nayak (16.92) took the bronze.
