Officers of the Sherbin Police Station Investigation Unit in Dakahlia Governorate were able to arrest a “minor” residing in the station’s Al-Wakala village, after he placed a “compressor hose” in the anus of a child working with him in a tire repair shop in the village of Manshiet Al-Nasr, and opened the air, causing injury. The child was taken to Al-Azhar University Hospital in serious condition.

The beginning was when Major General Marwan Habib, Director of Dakahlia Security, received a notification from Major General Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Director of Criminal Investigation, stating that a report had been received in the report prepared in the New Damietta Police Department by Brigadier General Mohamed Mounir Al-Adl, Sheriff of Sherbin Police Station, about the arrival of a child to Al-Azhar Hospital in Damietta with an injury. Bleeding in the anus, pneumothorax in the abdomen, and perforation of the intestine.

The officers of the Sherbin Police Station Investigation Unit, led by Major Salah Odeh, Chief of Investigations, moved to examine the report, and it was found that the child “A.A.”, 9 years old, in the third grade of primary school, was injured and works in a tire repair workshop located in the village.

When the child’s father, 37 years old, was asked, he admitted that while his son was present today in the workshop where he works, “A.M.A.”, 14 years old, a worker in the workshop and resident of the village of Al-Wakala, placed the air compressor hose in his son’s anus, and turned it on with the intention of joking. Which led to the child being injured, and he was accused of causing it.
