The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Tuesday urged the United States (USA) to reveal details about the biological laboratories financed in Ukraine, a fact that was denounced by Russia last Saturday.

At a press conference, the spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Lijian Zhao, argued that the US should provide details, including the types of viruses stored and the investigations carried out.
Zhao demanded on behalf of his nation that all parties guarantee the security of these laboratories in the context of the conflict situation between Russia and Ukraine, this in the framework of the Russian special operation in defense of Donbas.

“The United States has 336 laboratories in 30 countries under its control, including 26 in Ukraine alone. It must fully account for its biological military activities at home and abroad and submit to multilateral verification,” the spokesman added.
On March 6, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the discovery of assets and documents that showed that there were biological weapons development laboratories in Ukraine with funding from the Pentagon (USA).

The spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashénkov, denounced that an emergency destruction order was issued on February 24 for these facilities that were working with high-risk pathogens such as anthrax, plague, cholera, among others.
