Beijing, Honolulu (dpo) – After the controversial visit of US Democrat Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, the tit-for-tat is now coming from Beijing: In retaliation for the diplomatic affront, the Chinese Communist Party sent an 82-year-old official to Hawaii today.
“There can only be one answer to this brazen visit by a key US politician to Taiwan,” a spokesman for the Communist Party said. “As a symmetrical countermeasure, we ourselves are sending an elderly politician to an island claimed by the USA. Let’s see how they like their own medicine!”
A corresponding Chinese government plane with politician Zeng Jiaying (82) on board is already halfway to Honolulu. More than 200,000 people are currently following the route of the aircraft live on the Internet.
On the spot, Zeng Jiaying will meet with Hawaiian politicians, pledge the people’s support for China if they are ever attacked by the US, and call for more democracy. Then she will leave once more. “Then the Americans will see how it is. Hahaha!” Said the spokesman.
