Beijing: China’s former foreign minister Chin Gang was reportedly fired not because of his relationship with a US woman. A foreign media outlet reported that an investigation revealed that Chin was removed from his ministry after it was discovered that he had a relationship with a woman there, with whom he had a child, while he was ambassador to the US.
Meanwhile, Chinese officials have been quoted as saying that an investigation by the Communist Party found Chin Gang to have a lifestyle problem.
