HEFEI, March 9 (Xinhua) — Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (JAC) reported a 41.57 percent year-on-year increase in sales in February.
The company said it sold a total of 49,700 vehicles last month, including 15,700 vehicles exported abroad, representing an increase of more than 171 percent year on year.
The company’s business boom was embodied in a grand handover ceremony held on February 27, with the shipment of 3,000 vehicles exported to the UAE. By next September, a total of 10,000 vehicles will be delivered to the UAE under the contract.
The company had exported more than 800,000 vehicles to more than 130 countries and regions by the end of last year, with regarding 80 percent of the company’s exports going to countries along the Belt and Road.
