BEIJING, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) — Crime thriller “No More Bets” saw box-office grosses of over 3 billion yuan (about 417 million U.S. dollars) last Wednesday, second only to “Warned Between”. The stars (Lost in the stars), achieving a significant revenue milestone during the 2023 summer movie season.
According to the film data platforms “Maoyan” and “Beacon”, this is the first time that the summer season box office in China has produced two blockbuster films with a value of more than 3 billion yuan.
