After observing the work of Chris Pratt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it is hard for us to remember any of his roles prior to that of Star-Lord, one of the funniest characters in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, and the truth is that the beginnings of the actor were far from perfect.
The American is sweeping every movie he stars in, becoming a fixture on the red carpet at Hollywood events. Yes, it seems that his career is perfect, but before his time at Marvel, Pratt had had the occasional failure on the big screen.
Like many aspiring movie stars, Chris Pratt was a waiter who spent much of his spare time auditioning. In fact, before becoming a waiter, Pratt had been stripper. Living in a van on the beach in Maui after high school, the future actor was already begging for a miracle.
And the miracle happened. Lucky for him, a movie director walked into the cafe where he worked and asked if he was an actor. Four days later the two were working together in Los Angeles.
However, not everything was done after starting in the film industry. The actor appeared in numerous films with roles of varying importance, garnering reviews that tended to be quite negative. His best performances, yes, came in supporting roles in several successful films, in which his talent and sense of humor managed to prevail over the pressure of a relevant role.
