The British Royal Family, especially Prince Harry, is again seizing the public spotlight, Mother. This time, Meghan Markle’s husband explained the harsh actions he had experienced from Prince William.
He told this story in his memoirs Spare. Quoting from The GuardianHarry admitted that he had been attacked by his brother in 2019.
In the book, this incident takes place when the two bicker over Meghan Markle. The fight took place in the kitchen of his house, London.
Harry wrote at the time that William wanted to address the whole havoc of his relationship with Meghan and struggles with the press. However, according to Harry, at that time William’s emotions were on top, heating up and when he arrived at Harry’s house, the debate was inevitable.
Their dispute was called very fierce, the two shouted at each other until William was said to have cursed.
The piece also revealed that William called Meghan a “difficult” and “rough” woman. Until finally, William suddenly pushed Harry to the floor while continuing to argue.
“He grabbed me by the collar, pulled on my necklace and knocked me to the floor.”
“I fell on a cracked dog food bowl just below my back. The cut cut my back,” said Harry.
At that Harry could only be silent for a moment. He was dazed by what was happening, then got up and asked William to come out of his house.
“I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got up and told him to come out,” Harry added.
Harry also said that at that time William had asked him to give resistance in return, just like the fight they had when they were little. However, this father of two chose to reject it.
Also, Harry reminisced about William’s message to him before leaving him. Kate Middleton’s husband looked apologetic, apologized, but also asked that Meghan did not need to know about the dispute.
“‘You don’t have to tell Meg (Meghan) about this’,” Harry recalled, remembering his sister’s words.
“You mean about you attacking me?” he asked.
“I didn’t attack you Harold,” William replied again, using another of Harry’s nicknames.
Meghan Markle, Mother, finally found out about this incident. This wasn’t because Harry started the conversation, but his wife asked about the scratches on his back.
According to Harry, Meghan did not appear surprised nor angry by what had happened. However, he immediately looked sad when it happened to Harry.
“He was very sad,” Harry wrote.
