This is news that may please the Seresians. Like the previous year, a bonus relating to the waste tax will be redistributed to citizens of the City of Seraing.
“A gesture which results directly from the modification of the regulations relating to the said tax made in 2019,” explains the City. “As a reminder, the authorities wanted to make a double commitment: the first was to achieve 100% cost-truth annually and the second was not to make money at the expense of the population.”
Between 5 and 11 euros per household
The truth cost for 2022 stands at 104.52%, or 4.52% more than what is required. Concretely, this surplus of 203,619.73 euros will therefore be redistributed to citizens as follows:
– 5 € for a household of 1 person
– 7 € for a household of 2 persons
– 9 € for a household of 3 people
– 11 € for a household of 4 people and more
For convenience, the bonus is directly deducted from the 2023 flat rate portion, specifies the City of Seraing which reminds that to have access to the bonus, you must meet these conditions: be domiciled in the territory of Sérésien on January 1, 2023, the composition household is that established on January 1, 2023, only one bonus is granted per household and the bonus is only valid for the current year.
