During a recent broadcast of the TF1 talent show Star Academy, Clara Luciani was granted an exception: she accompanied distressed contestants back to the château in a production bus late at night following a difficult prime.
The details of this gesture surfaced during a radio interview. While celebrity patrons typically fulfill their on-air duties and depart, Luciani requested permission to comfort the young artists. The French singer spent the entire transit journey supporting the contestants, stepping outside the traditional boundaries of her mentorship role.
What Drove the Bus Ride
- The Catalyst: Following a difficult prime, the contestants were visibly distraught.
- The Exception: Clara Luciani was allowed to board the student bus.
- The Aftermath: The artist spent the entire journey counseling the students before finally leaving the château.
Inside the Mentorship of the 2024 Promotion
Clara Luciani served as the official godmother for the 2024 season of Star Academy, a cycle ultimately won by contestant Marine. Throughout her tenure, the singer maintained a hands-on approach that extended well beyond the weekly television broadcasts. Her involvement included visits to the château, presence during rehearsals, and advisory sessions with various performers in the house.

Speaking on the radio with Christophe Beaugrand, Karima Charni recalled the moment the singer realized she could not simply walk away from the set after the cameras stopped rolling. Charni recounted to Christophe Beaugrand on the air that Luciani stated she could not leave the students because they were too sad, asking directly if she could join the transport bus.
Charni further noted during the broadcast that Luciani rode the entire route to comfort the students, before finally departing the premises.
Precedents Set by Past Patrons
