La Baraque d’édition is an editorial collective in which every author is also a co-editor. The objective is twofold: to support the first writings and to encourage the texts of living workers, those who allow themselves to be transformed by the encounter with the people with whom they work. This book, the first in a series, highlights through 13 stories of interns in psychiatry, the invisible often neglected, which guides us throughout our life, namely the link.

These stories bridge the gap between the value of an encounter and the strategies that made it happen. It is often a spontaneous gesture that improves the condition of a sick person that these caregivers have listened to without always understanding. Most of the time, they stay halfway, in an unfinished understanding, but one that allows them to wander.
