Coca-Cola analogue doomed to fail : nemihail — LiveJournal

Have you already tried an analogue of Russian-made cola?

Well, if you saw how much real Coca-Cola costs today, then you probably wondered – WTF?

Immediately after the announcement that Coca-Cola was leaving Russia, I myself, just in case, bought several liter bottles of cola without sugar and put it in a locker as a reserve.

Some time ago, Coca-Cola cost from 25 to 35 rubles for a bottle of 0.5 liters, the price could be higher if you bought soda in a vending machine, there used to be 50 rubles. It was just as expensive in street cafes, especially in crowded places, where the price reached up to 100 rubles.

However, after it became known that Coca-Cola was leaving Russia, prices in grocery stores skyrocketed, even in the usual Pyatorochka.

As it became known, there are still stocks of the drink, but so that it would not be swept away in a very short time, the prices were made prohibitive so that people would not buy soda for future use and it would remain on the shelves for a long time.

Russian analogue of Coca-Cola

Everything that used to be an analogue of cola is a rare, terrible swill (IMHO). I never understood why do this at all if you have your own drinks, such as: Baikal and Bell, Duchess, Pinocchio, etc.

The only minus of all our drinks (Bayka, Kolokolchik, Duchess, Pinocchio…) is that they have no analogues that do not contain sugar. The only exception is kvass, which contains much less sugar, but it is rarely sold in a convenient format (0.5 l).

Not quite clear

Recently, analogue cola has been gaining momentum from well-known beverage manufacturers that have not previously released cola. And the strangest thing is that all these manufacturers set a horse price tag for their products, which, according to the idea, should cost much cheaper than the original (before the price rises). Suffice it to recall that cola analogues have always cost much less and drunks bought them like a cheap drink. Surprisingly, the taste of this swill has not changed, and the price has almost caught up with Coca-Cola, which has been pushed to the limit. This is of course fierce greed on the hype.

Real Coca Cola

But the bottom line is that the cola plant, namely the Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (Coca-Cola HBC), does not plan to completely abandon the production of the drink. Most likely it will be sold under a different brand. Now there are rumors that it will be the Dobry brand, which belongs to the company and under which juices are produced. The drink will probably be called “Good cola”, but the people have already called it “good Kolya”.

By the way

It is also surprising that if we fail to make our own cola, then the Coca-Cola Company and PepsiCo fail to make kvass. And kvass from Coca-Cola (Mug and barrel) or from PepsiCo (Russian gift) – in my opinion – the same rare, terrible swill, like cola from our companies.

Do you know why?

Well, of course, I post everything forbidden in cartmy fachwerk construction blog and real estate investment blog.
