Coldplay, Miley Cyrus and other artists who honored Taylor Hawkins

Many of the artists who were close to or admired the Foo Fighters band member paid tribute to him as a way of saying goodbye.

The sudden death of drummer Taylor Hawkins has left his fans, friends and family saddened. Many of the artists who were close to or admired the Foo Fighters band member paid tribute to him as a way of saying goodbye.

Miley Cyrus, who was her friend and colleague, broke down in tears during her presentation at Lollapalooza Brazil and expressed the following words:

“We had to make an emergency stop and the first person I called was Taylor Hawkins, I couldn’t see my friend I would do anything to be with him, I can’t imagine how the foo fighters feel, I want to dedicate Angels like you ”. Miley Cyrus assured.

On the other hand, Coldplay, the British group that is also on tour, offered a tribute to Hawkins with the song “Everglow”. The band did it during their show at the BBVA Stadium in Monterrey, moments after hearing the news.

“We feel like we should send love to the Foo Fighters because we know he was a beautiful person, so we’re going to play this song for the Foo Fighters,” he concluded before singing the opening chords of “Everglow.” Said Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay.

On the other hand, Ozzy Osbourne, the rocker and metalhead, could not stay out and expressed his condolences through Instagram. “He was really a great person and an amazing musician. My heart, love and condolences go out to his wife, his children, his family, his band and his fans. See you on the other side,” Ozzy said.
