Today is one of those days when you get news that you didn’t expect. Larry Hryb, better known to the Xbox community as Major Nelson, has decided to take a step back. The man who has been one of the most recognizable visible images in the Xbox community has decided to take a step back from his career at the age of 65.
This good old Hryb did not give details on the reasons for his departure, but we can assume that he is looking for another type of adventure. As he explains in his tweets, he will take on a new challenge, even if he did not specify his destination.

Major Nelson has been with us for 20 years and has organized various events such as Inside Xbox, the X0s and many more. In addition, he is also responsible for the official Xbox podcast, which will now be suspended while a new candidate is found.
The Official Xbox Podcast will go on hiatus this summer and return in a new format.
