The mother-of-one has shared her simple lifehack that saved her young daughter an emergency room visit after food got stuck in her nose.
“This mom trick saved me and my kid from going to the ER last week,” she said in a TikTok video that had more than 530,000 views on Friday.

After realizing her baby girl had something lodged in her nostril and was acting strangely, the mum quickly searched online for a remedy to the situation.
She was getting more and more worried.
“I took a flashlight, I looked in his nose and I found something that came from his pizza,” details Ms. Schwartz.
The mother first took tweezers and laid her daughter down, before changing her mind.
“Hmmm, I better not do that,” she thought to herself, lest she push the morsel of food further into her daughter’s nostril.
Ms. Schwartz then had an idea.
She used one of her fingers to plug her daughter’s nostril in which there was no food, then she blew into her daughter’s mouth.

Miracle: the food was diligently dispatched.
“The air will rise and push the food, or the pebble, or whatever it is out of the nostril it’s stuck in,” she explains.
The mother could not believe the effectiveness of this trick. She had to use it again two days later when her daughter got stuck in her nose.
“It was disgusting, but it worked so well…”, she argues.
Hundreds of people have commented on the video, with many claiming to have tried it themselves.
“I suggested this method to our neighbor a few years ago when she was in a panic. It worked,” wrote one user.
“I run a day center and have had to use it several times over the past 16 years. It works every time!” assured another.
