In use, the Bosch compressor is nevertheless easier to handle thanks to its format offering excellent grip. Small hands will have to do a series of contortions to manage to hold and set the thicker Xiaomi inflator with the tip of their thumb. Also, it displays pressure with higher accuracy (within 0.05 bar), when the Xiaomi works in 0.5 bar increments. On the other hand, it is a little more cumbersome and will have trouble slipping into a small glove box or under a motorcycle seat, for example.
More richly equipped, the Bosch inflator takes the lead by offering a nozzle to inflate pneumatic toys, such as buoys, in addition to the adapter for Presta valves and the needle for balloons. In addition, these small accessories are stored in a space provided for this purpose, housed in the handle of the device, which will avoid losing them. The German drives the point home with its longer, more resistant and much more practical to use sheathed hose, in particular thanks to its mobile tip allowing tires to be deflated without having to completely unscrew the device.
Unsurprisingly, this first round goes to Bosch thanks to its slightly richer endowment and above all thanks to its very practical storage system and its much better thought-out pipe; a detail that will make the difference in use.
