The new Galaxy Z Fold5 comes with many processor improvements. It’s also thinner, now folds without a gap in the middle, and several other improvements. But the question on everyone’s mind now: do these improvements make it superior to the Huawei Mate X3 foldable phone, which was launched several months before the launch of the Fold5? Does this phone have all the standard features of a foldable phone? Design and Size When the Huawei Mate X3 was launched, it became popular thanks to its unique design. When it comes to the Galaxy Fold5, the internal screen is 7.6 inches, while the external screen is 6.2 inches. Both have a refresh rate of 120Hz and 373ppi. Both are Dynamic AMOLED 2X screens with HDR10 support, with beautiful and pure colors. The displays are also much brighter than last year’s model. In fact, the peak brightness of the displays is now equal to that of the Galaxy S23. But the most important difference between the two phones is the difference in aspect ratios between them. The Fold5 has a higher aspect ratio than the Mate X3 when closed. As a result, the Fold5’s external screen is narrower than that of the Mate X3. While the Fold5 supports 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, the Mate X3 features a much higher 66W SuperCharge wireless and 50W wireless charging. But in this case, the Mate X3 also has a bigger battery; 4,800 mAh compared to 4,400 mAh for the Fold 5. Cameras The camera is another aspect where the two phones differ. The HUAWEI Mate X3 features a 50MP Ultra Vision Main Camera, a 13MP Ultra Wide Angle Camera, and a 12MP Periscope Telephoto Camera that supports 5x optical zoom, allowing you to capture some really great shots. It also has a 10MP selfie camera on the cover and another 10MP selfie camera on the inside.
