Apparently on consoles there are no such critical shortcomings, but there are “features” of their own. So, in the version of the project for Xbox Series X ray tracing is missing – this is probably a bug, because on PS5 no such points were found.

In addition, at Xbox Series S noticed problems with global illumination and reflections (relevant on Series X with PS5 in performance mode). The longest downloads were on the Series X version, and the fastest on the PS5 (if not compared to the PC).

In total, the game runs on different consoles in the following configurations:

  • PS4 — 1080p at 30 FPS;
  • PS4 Pro — 1440p at 30 FPS;
  • PS5/Xbox Series X – 2160p @ 30 FPS + ray tracing (graphics mode);
  • PS5/Xbox Series X – 2160p @ 60 FPS (Performance Mode);
  • Xbox Series X — 1440p при 30 FPS.

There were no particular problems with FPS, different versions of the game for the most part hold the bar fairly stable, although there are small problems on PS4. In general, according to reviews, the best console version of the game at the moment is represented by the PS5.

In addition, there was also a technical analysis Digital Foundrywhich, among other things, touched on the very version for PC, where the situation really leaves much to be desired.

Apparently, one of the main problems was incorrect compilation of shaders on Unreal Engine 4, due to which the game started having FPS problems even on powerful machines. Disabling certain settings may help the situation, but the image still remains “jerky” and the project freezes.

For consoles, the authors came to conclusions similar to those of other reviewers, at the same time demonstrating the advantages of the image when using ray tracing.
