Prince William: Harry never gave him the engagement ring
According to Harry, none of this ever happened. According to Harry’s tales, the story is flawed simply because Harry might never have given the ring to his brother:
I never gave Willy the ring because I mightn’t do it. He already owned it.
William would have him following Diana’s death “asked for” and Harry would have given up the ring for his brother’s sake, the redhead continued. That concludes Burrell’s claim that Harry asked William if “wouldn’t it be fitting if she got mommy’s ring?” lapsed. And the rumor that Kate’s engagement ring was originally intended for Meghan should also prove to be wrong.
