The Anti-extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) 41 Carabobo of the National Guard managed to capture six people linked to a network of child trafficking, who under deception contacted adolescents through social networks, offered them jobs paid in foreign currency and, Finally, they were transferred to the border with their final destination in Peru, where they ended up being sexually exploited.

The arrests took place during an operation carried out in the El Prado sector, in the vicinity of the El Prado service station, in the Miguel Peña parish of the Valencia municipality.

Through a minute released by the security entity, the alleged antisocials were identified as Kerman José Gómez Mundaray, 35 years old; Argenis Alexander Valencia Martínez, 34 years old; Yordanis Santana Castillo, 36 years old; Yovany José Seijas Vargas, 28 years old; Yusmairy Alejandra Gutiérrez Sichaga, 20 years old; and Danyerlin Caroli Veraza Mujica, 33 years old.

Linked to a case raised in Puerto Cabello

The case was notified before the Twenty-Fourth Prosecutor of the Public Ministry in the criminal judicial district of Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, where the case was settled because it is related to that of two minors, originally from the Carabobo coastal area, who had been reported missing and kidnapped for a few days.

Both later appeared in Bogotá, Colombia, and ended up recovered and returned to their relatives thanks to the joint work between the Public Ministry and the Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command 41 Carabobo.

During the investigation, the authorities seized six telephone sets, which contain incriminating material, in addition to an Encava bus-type vehicle.
