Consultant reveals a situation in which activities should be discontinued and advises on the booster dose

Infectious diseases consultant, Ali Al-Shehri, stressed the need to obtain the booster dose of Corona vaccines, to confront the mutant Omicron, noting that it raises immunity.

Al-Shehri said in statements to the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel: “To prevent all corona mutations, precautionary measures must be adhered to and the third dose of the Corona vaccine must be received; It prevents infection from mutants and increases immunity.”

And the infectious disease consultant added: “Mutants occur because people do not get vaccinations,” noting that it is not certain that the winter season will cause a rise in infections.

Al-Shehri explained that the increase in infections is due to closed meetings and lack of good ventilation, noting that if it rises, high-intensity activities must be stopped; Because it is difficult to control the numbers.
