Antonio Conte, coach of the English club Tottenham, will miss, once again, his team’s match against Wolverhampton, which is scheduled to be held today, Saturday, but he will return to work tomorrow, Sunday.
And the British news agency “BA Media” reported that Tottenham are heading to Wolverhampton Stadium after losing 0-1 against Sheffield United, in the FA Cup, last Wednesday.
Christian Stellini, the assistant coach, revealed after the victory over Chelsea that Conte would return this week, but the Italian coach would be absent for another match before he could return after undergoing gallbladder removal surgery on the first of last February.
“I said that he will return this week, and immediately after the Wolverhampton match, he will be in London and will train the team, starting from Sunday,” Stellini said, before being asked why Conte could not return to work a day earlier.
He added, “This question is for the medical administration, because they set the timetable for one month.”
Although Tottenham is still competing in the Champions League this season, it seems that the team’s wait for a title will continue for the sixteenth year. And
Tottenham remain in control of the possibility of finishing the league in the Golden Square, while Stellini believes that this will be considered a success this season, but he understands the frustration of the fans.
