The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has signed a memorandum of understanding with Government 01 Company, which specializes in government sector technologies, including the “Government 01” platform, the first Arab platform for government innovation.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the authority – during a virtual ceremony – by Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, acting director general of the authority, and on behalf of “Government 01” and its CEO, Ibrahim Al-Badawi.
On this occasion, Laila Al-Suwaidi confirmed that signing the memorandum serves the strategic objectives of the authority, which are to develop human capital in the federal government, enhance employees’ skills and experiences, and improve their knowledge, by providing them with the opportunity to benefit from the various educational programs, materials and tools provided by the platform. “Government 01”, which will contribute to developing their capabilities and enable them to keep pace with the requirements of the rapidly changing global labor market.
She indicated that the authority, through its cooperation with “Government 01”, will focus on enhancing the efficiency of the employees of ministries and federal entities, and consolidating their culture of innovation and knowledge.
For his part, Ibrahim Al-Badawi praised the efforts of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources and its pioneering role in providing the latest ways and sources of continuous learning for federal government employees, stressing the importance of this partnership in enhancing the capabilities of the employees of ministries and federal entities at the professional and personal levels with regard to empowering future skills, and accelerating innovation plans Digital transformation and organizational excellence.
