Coordination of universities 2022.. Excluding the 1500 high school students from the rules of geographical distribution

The Supreme Council of Universities approved the rules University admission coordination Government and institutes for students who obtained the Egyptian General Secondary Certificate this year to enroll in universities in the 2022/2023 academic year, as he confirmed that the same coordination rules in force in the last year will be applied.

According to the admission rules, it is scheduled that the distribution of the first (1500) students at the level of the Republic in the Egyptian General Secondary Certificate will be 500 students (Science Division + 500 Mathematics + 500 Literary) and according to the specific order of the Ministry of Education, as an exception to the rules of geographical and regional admission in force when Distributing them to colleges and university institutes through electronic coordination, while exempting them from tuition fees in general programs in public universities and continuing to enjoy this advantage in the event that they obtain an excellent grade in a study group during the first university stage.

The Supreme Council of Universities had approved the new formation of the Higher Coordination Committee for the academic year 2022/2023, which came as follows: Prof. Dr. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research will chair the committee, with the membership of Beni Suef University, Damietta University president, President of Cairo University, President of Ain Shams University, President of Matrouh University, President of Alexandria University, President of Sohag University, President of Fayoum University, President of Helwan University, President of Kafr El-Sheikh University, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, Head of the Education Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Samir Shaheen, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University and responsible for electronic coordination, and Director General of Technical Affairs at the Supreme Council of Universities.
