Two friends from the interior of Cordoba went out this Saturday night to a bowling alley in the capital. Around six in the morning, on Sunday, they went to the bus station to take the bus back to Pilar, where they are from. While they were sitting waiting, a man approached and without saying a word, began to brutally attack one of the young women.
According to Valentina, the 19-year-old girl who was attacked, the man sat to one side to smoke and “out of nowhere” began to hit one of them. Both managed to escape and run out of the place. In dialogue with Cadena 3, she recounted that the man chased them, and while the young women ran, he hit them from behind.
Once they managed to get free and the attacker left, they were both in shock. It was there that the victim began to feel that something was “burning” on her back: “I touched my back and realized that she had stabbed me because I was bleeding. Nobody did anything because they were afraid of getting in,” the victim told ElDoce.tv.
The man was arrested in the vicinity of the place and the case was left to the District 1 prosecutor’s office, in charge of Rubén Caro. They ordered psychiatric examinations and requested a history of mental health pathologies.
The attacked girl published the attack she suffered on her Twitter account and expressed that “it is necessary to continue reporting and showing the insecurity that is being experienced in Córdoba.” She and she added: “Luckily they were not deep wounds and I am out of risk, but the pain and trauma that the situation left me is enormous.”
