Cori Broadus has suffered from health problems since childhood. At the age of six, she was diagnosed with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease that can cause symptoms such as muscle pain, extreme fatigue and headaches. Lupus increases the risk of stroke. It requires heavy drug treatment. However, in September 2023, the young woman told People that she had decided to replace her medications with natural remedies.
“I stopped taking all my medications about five months ago. I do everything natural, all kinds of herbs, sea moss, teas… So now I think my body is saying ‘okay, this is the new program’ and getting used to it,” she then explained.
