Apple-branded build quality
Aesthetically, the changes are minor between the AirPods Pro 2 and the first generation. The new iteration retains an identical upper format and remains comfortable to wear even over a long period of time. The case has the usual lines, it is easy to handle and above all, has a loudspeaker which will allow it to be better located as well as a fixing for the straps.
The case offers up to 30 hours of battery life, 6 hours more than with the previous generation. As for the autonomy of the headphones, it is very satisfactory with a hold of just over 5 hours with ANC activated as well as spatial audio and up to 6 hours in stereo music. And if you really get to the end of it, five minutes of charging is enough to bring them back to life for an hour. Note that they are IPX4 certified and therefore ensure sweat resistance – during your sports sessions – and even in the rain.
Excellent audio performance
The AirPods Pro 2 have amazing active noise reduction. The brand simply offers the best on the market. The H2 chip that accompanies the headphones succeeds in eliminating the noise of everyday life, car, metro, discussions… And if you are not comfortable with the idea of cutting yourself off from the world, the Adaptive Transparent mode makes does a great job of letting through voices and most ambient noise.
