The tenth anniversary of the stable brought together many enthusiasts from the equestrian world. Shows, parades and carousel were on the program.
The Roxane Barrau stable has just celebrated its 10th anniversary. The party was great with a big parade with horse-drawn carriages and ponies, horse shows, a Disney-themed carousel for children and adults, all led by the star Percheron of the stable, Atlanta and his coachmen Tom and Daniel. In 10 years you have come a long way…
Yes, I’m proud of how far we’ve come. In ten years we have moved forward, we have structured ourselves, we have improved the site and its facilities, built an indoor arena, a club house, increased the number of boxes… because the stable is also 65 ponies and horses, a riding school for children, from 4 years old and adults, from beginner to advanced. The stable is still group and private lessons throughout the year given by qualified instructors. In parallel it is also a stable of owners with pension and boxes. The stable also hosts schools, summer camps, the CAT. On Thursday afternoons, for example, residents of the CAT Paule Montal de Cuxac come for walks and horse care. These equitherapy workshops bring them a lot.
What is the program for the next few months?
Jumble we will say that registrations for next season are open, the course program for children outside the stables is displayed because discovery weeks around the pony are also offered during the All Saints, February, Easter holidays, for 6/12 years old, 8/14 years old and teenagers. And of course during the summer holidays. There are also driving lessons with Atlanta and its beautiful carts. Every opportunity is taken advantage of to introduce horse riding and the wealth of activities.
