Jeddah: A significant decrease in the number of new covid patients was recorded in Saudi Arabia today. 457 new covid patients and 754 recoveries were reported. With this, the total number of Covid cases reported in the country so far has reached 7,96,268 and the number of recoveries has reached 7,78,679.
Two new deaths were also recorded. With this, the total number of deaths in the country has risen to 9,211. At present 8,378 people are under treatment due to the disease. 145 of them are in critical condition. They continue to receive treatment in intensive care units of various hospitals in the country. The current covid freedom rate in Saudi Arabia is 97.79 percent and the death rate is 1.15 percent.
