Crew Dragon with four NASA and ESA astronauts returned to Earth

The Crew Dragon manned spacecraft from SpaceX splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of the US state of Florida. The crew of four cosmonauts left the descent vehicle.

Astronauts Chell Lindgren, Robert Hines, Jessica Watkins (NASA) and Samantha Cristoforetti (European Space Agency, ESA) returned to Earth. They spent 170 days on the International Space Station (ISS). Crew Dragon returned to Earth autonomously for about five hours.

The ISS currently has a crew of seven. It includes Sergei Prokopiev, Dmitry Petelin, Anna Kikina (Roscosmos), Francisco Rubio, Nicole Mann and Josh Kassada (NASA) and Koichi Wakata (Japan Aerospace Agency).
