The annual sports event “Cross of Nations – 2023”, dedicated to All-Russian Running Day, took place in the Chemalsky district.
More than 500 people took part in the race – employees of various institutions, schoolchildren, preschoolers and pensioners. The youngest participant is three years old, the oldest athlete is 76 years old.
Athletes competed in different disciplines in accordance with age categories at distances from one to 12 km.
The winners were residents of the Altai Republic Dominika Vinnyk, Yesenia Lakiza, Milena Chernyshova, Sabina Kovaleva, Oksana Synyukhina, Anatoly Kotov, Nina Biryukova, Denis Zhukovets, Veronica Chernikova, Milena Grodoboeva, Roman Valikov, Alexey Pisarev, Elena Misharova, Artem Maneev and Alexey Andreev. Participants from other regions of the Russian Federation also took prizes.
Let us remind you that the “Cross of the Nation” has been taking place for 19 years, including for the second year in a row in the Chemal region. This year the race took place in 84 regions of the country, with a total of 340 thousand people taking part. The purpose of the event is to promote a healthy lifestyle and attract citizens to physical education.
