CTC Infra has just delivered a computer laboratory to IOB (Instituto Oportunidade Brasil), an entity that promotes racial equity through training courses for the black population, in Vitória (ES). The equipment was donated in conjunction with Metalvix, which is part of the consortium responsible for the engineering works of the Wind Fence Project, in the Tubarão complex.

This is the second partnership between CTC Infra and Metalvix with IOB. In the first, companies allocated financial resources to support the entity’s activities with young people and adolescents.

“In more than two decades of operation, we are guided by values such as responsibility, innovation and valuing people, within our organization and also around our works. We found in IOB the fundamental characteristics to address our values, since our purposes converge and the entity presents applicability of resources, seriousness and commitment to results”, says Marcos Vinícius Borin, founder of CTC Infra.

The IOB already had a similar laboratory and the new one was installed at the TecVitória unit, which will serve the Itararé neighborhood region. In addition to twenty computers, the place received furniture, datashow, electrical network infrastructure and painting of the room.

“This structure will enable not only the teaching of IT and programming, but also other multidisciplinary courses, such as training for corporate presentations. IOB courses impact mainly black women, who play a prominent role in the socioeconomic development of families and the entire community”, highlights Rafael Oliveira, administrative and financial manager of the project at Wind Fence.

The partnership has the support of Vale’s Projeto Partilhar. CTC Infra and Metalvix are responsible for the engineering necessary for the assembly of 260 towers approximately five kilometers long and more than 75,000 square meters of assembly of Wind Fence screens, covering four ore yards, in the Tubarão Complex. Completion of the work is scheduled for the end of this year.

Those interested in participating in projects offered by IOB can contact the entity through its page or social networks.
