CYCLING de West Java 2024 will be held again on May 25 2024. This third event will have a Cirebon-Kuningan-Ciamis-Banjar-Pangandaran route.
Cycling de West Java is an activity to showcase the potential of West Java (Jabar) through cycling activities. It is hoped that this activity will have a positive impact in influencing the development of the economic and tourism sectors in West Java.
Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin at the launch and press conference of Cycling de Jabar 2024 at Gedung Sate Bandung City, Thursday (14/3) said that the West Java Provincial Government fully supports the Cycling de West Java 2024 activities and it is hoped that this activity will boost tourism and the economy in the eastern region West Java.
“We see the potential for development of the tourism industry in South West Java, especially the facilities that make it easier for tourists to visit. And can help the economic ecosystem of the surrounding area,” he said.
According to Bey, the provincial government is asking for a new route for the 2024 Cycling de West Java, because West Java is very large and has all types of geography from mountains to beaches. He wants wider exploration, including passing through tourist areas in the areas he passes.
West Java Province Head of Youth and Sports Affairs Asep Sukmana also stated that he hopes that the Cycling de Jabar 2024 event will be able to showcase the potential of athletes at national and international levels to conquer the West Java route which is known to be beautiful and challenging.

“I also hope that holding the Cycling de Jabar event can have another positive impact on West Java with its route stretching 213 kilometers,” he explained.
Cycling de Jabar 2024 comes with three podium race categories in the Jabar Challenge program. Namely the KOM, QOM, Intermediate Sprint and Stage categories.
In order to support the continuity of the Cycling de Jabar event, a Coffee Ride activity was also held, as one of a series of events leading up to the holding of the Cycling de Jabar event on May 25 2024. (R-1)
