A total of 145 pedalers from different cities in the country participated in the ninth version of the Master Tour, organized by the Chillán Cycling Group and with the support of the municipality of the commune.

The event that considers two days of challenges along the routes of Ñuble began this Saturday with the time trial in the La Liga Sports Center sector, located on the way to Cato, where the pedalers of the categories from 35 years onwards, both in women and in men, showed their skills in the rural sector of the commune.

“It is a massive event that brings together pedalers from different sectors of the country who come to compete in this Master Tour that has become part of the national circuit. We have had good behavior and everything was well coordinated through a security team, ambulances, plus the deployment of the Municipality so that everything goes as correctly as possible. It is a test that is consolidated and that brings together many participants,” highlighted the mayor of Chillán, Camilo Benavente, who was part of the start of the different runners.

Hernán Blasco, sports advisor of the Municipality of Chillán, joined the mayor’s words that speak of a consolidation of the test, in almost a decade since it was held. “Happy to be involved in this important test with our mayor, it is a competition that continues to consolidate itself as a strong event in the south of the country. “The administration and the Municipal Council once once more supported this cycling event.”
