A week after the broadcast of the show “ Further investigation » on France 2, new details continue to emerge. The survey, dedicated to Cyril Hanouna and his show “Touche pas à mon poste”, had already revealed numerous incriminating elements. Tyrannical behavior, scenarios and strict instructions, “TPMP” and Baba left absolutely no room for improvisation.

In the France 2 documentary, the journalists discovered the numerous written instructions transmitted to the columnists before their arrival on set. A practice demonstrated on several occasions, in particular to attack Cyril Hanouna’s detractors. “Additional investigation” claims to be in possession of dozens of SMS messages between the production of “TPMP” and the columnists.
Among the SMS revealed by the investigation, an exchange between Géraldine Maillet and production. She asks her to talk “as if she fell in love” with the film “Sisters in Arms.” » The production requires the columnist to praise it which is “ deal with Cyril and Bolloré (…) you really have to do it. » Another SMS confirms Vincent Bolloré’s request: “ For the film: very important because of Bolloré’s request. (…) You really have to look at what the critics say and it’s a real favorite » writes the production to him. Behavior that goes against the rules of ARCOM, which ensures not to intervene in the editorial content of a media outlet. A mistake all the greater since the film “Sisters in Arms” is co-produced by Vivendi, a subsidiary of Canal+ whose boss is none other than Vincent Bolloré.

Many subjects thus receive instructions, sometimes coming from very high up in the hierarchy. Columnists are prohibited from addressing the subject of complaints against Roman Polanski and his film “J’accuse” during the 2020 César Awards, nor can they criticize Alexandre Benalla, former close friend of Emmanuel Macron, or Johnny Deppp and his ad for Dior deemed racist and colonialist.
