DACIA has officially announced a radical change for the next edition of the Duster.
DACIA Duster is one of the most popular SUVs sold in Europe, and almost everywhere in the world at the moment, however this bestseller will undergo a radical change in the years to come. Concretely, by 2025, Renault has announced that it will have a new series of engines for its new models, whether the DACIA Duster, Bigster, Logan, Sandero, or even a new model.
The third generation of Duster is already in the pipes. This new version, which would arrive at the end of 2024, will be built on the CMF-B platform, which will result in a fairly varied engine range. On the one hand, DACIA Duster could have 1.2e and 1.5 liter gasoline engines, TCe, that said diesel engines will disappear from the catalog. On the other hand, the Renault group would launch hybrid versions on all new models by 2025, and as you can deduce the third generation of the DACIA Duster would be no exception to this rule.
In addition, DACIA Duster could also be offered in a 100% electric version. Renault will also have hydrogen engines for some models in its range, but the chances that a model DACIA Duster eligible for this kind of motorization are almost nil, because the production cost of such types of cars is extremely high.
