During the October 13 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Real Housewives newcomer Daisy Toye questioned why cast members discussed an unverified rumor regarding Jessel Taank’s husband on television. The controversy unfolds as Season 16 airs Tuesday nights on Bravo and streams the following day on Peacock.
Daisy Toye Questions Jessel Taank Marriage Rumor Discussion
The latest season of The Real Housewives has brought intense personal friction to the screen, centering on unverified claims brought up by the cast. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Daisy Toye addressed speculation questioning the sexuality of Jessel Taank’s husband, Pavit Randhawa. Toye expressed clear frustration that the cast chose to air private marital matters.

That broadcast discussion originated from earlier friction among the women during Season 16. Sai de Silva had confronted Erin Lichy over private marriage information leaking to Jenna Lyons. When Sai pushed back against Erin during an episode, the argument escalated as Sai accused Erin of spreading unverified claims about Pavit Randhawa, alleging he had hooked up with men in a steam room at his gym.
Erin Lichy Reaction and Behind-the-Scenes Claims
While the rumor made it into the show’s storyline, Toye suggested that Sai appeared to enjoy discussing the rumor with Erin before it became part of the show’s storyline. Speaking on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea
podcast, Toye detailed how Erin reacted off-camera to the brewing storm.
Erin kept saying, ‘Don’t fall for the bait.’ … She did not want the cameras to catch that at all.

Toye also shared her own anxieties regarding private chats within the group, explaining that she worried about her personal disclosures being used against her. She admitted feeling fearful that shared confidences might turn into future ammunition during cast disputes. Meanwhile, Toye faced her own regrets regarding a separate conversation where she discussed a flood at Erin Lichy’s house, acknowledging that she should never have entertained speculation labeling the damage an insurance ploy.

During the WWHL After Show, Toye reflected on criticisms that she acts as a hater, explaining her true intentions to viewers. She noted that she is simply a good friend. The cast lineup features additional stars including Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye. Toye is a 45-year-old makeup artist who has known Sai De Silva for over two decades after they initially met while working as servers at an Upper East Side strip club called Scores. Toye also came onto the show already familiar with Hammond because of their mutual friend, Martha Stewart.
Martha Stewart Polo Bar Dinner Defense
Away from the core marital drama, Toye also leaped to the defense of Martha Stewart, addressing accusations from fellow newcomer Hailey Glassman. Hailey had claimed during a podcast appearance that Stewart dined and dashed
without paying during a group gathering at the Polo Bar in New York City.

Toye strongly disputed that characterization, explaining that Stewart only stopped by for ten minutes late in the evening because she had been invited at the last minute after finishing up at a conference. Because the group had already finished eating, Toye argued that asking Stewart to pay made no sense.
