The strong winds that hit several regions of Quebec last night caused damage and this was still visible on Saturday morning.

Damaged trees, uprooted, temporary shelters that flew away even if they were anchored, are among the traces left by the bad weather.
Early Saturday morning, nearly 40,000 homes were without power.
The regions of southern Quebec were the most affected, including Montreal, Lanaudière, the Laurentians, Laval, Montérégie and Estrie, among others.
At the height of the storm, nearly 120,000 Hydro-Quebec customers were without power on Friday evening.
