Mixco vs Municipal: Date and time for the first leg final of Clausura 2024

Mixco and Municipal are less than 24 hours away from facing each other for the first time in a Guatemalan soccer grand final.
This is an unprecedented opportunity to see a champion since the Chicharronero team could lift its first crown in professional football in the country or Municipal could continue with its legacy and equal the 32 conquests that Comunicaciones has.
In any case, both teams are fine-tuning the final details for what promises to be a serious final with a lot of dynamism and emotions.
While in Mixco they are preparing the Santo Domingo stadium to receive about 10,000 spectators, Sebastián Bini and his team will want to lift a title again. Municipal has not achieved this for five years and a new opportunity presents itself to Mixco.
The first leg grand final is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 11 at 3 p.m. at the Santo Domingo stadium.
Meanwhile, the second leg final will be on Sunday, May 19 at 2:30 p.m. at the Manuel Felipe Carrera “El Trébol”.
This final series will not only determine the champion that succeeds Comunicaciones, but it is also vital to make official which will be the third Guatemalan club to play in the next edition of the Central American Cup.
Municipal and Comunicaciones already have a guaranteed presence after the leader of the general table and champion of the Apertura 2023 respectively, but if Mixco becomes champion it will also obtain the ticket.
If Municipal ends up lifting the trophy, the third place will be Antigua GFC, after having a better position in the accumulated table.
