Luna’s daughter Julieta died last April after suffering from cystic fibrosis, which severely affects the lungs and other organs.
Kochi: Adrian Luna dedicated the goal scored against East Bengal in the ISL opening match to his deceased daughter Juliet. Luna scored the goal in the 71st minute with a great finish. Instead of celebrating, Luna was later seen whimpering on the field.
Adrian Luna announced the news of her daughter’s death to the world through a heartbreaking note. Luna’s daughter Julieta passed away on April 9. The actor announced this through Instagram.
“It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of my daughter Julieta. She passed away on April 6 this year. The pain her death has caused to me and my family will never be erased,” the actor noted.
“She was a great example who kept a lot of love and affection in life. She smiled despite her hardships. “Her I Love You was more of a life-saver,” added Luna.
“You have taught me the great lesson of never giving up no matter how many hardships I go through. You taught me how to love. “You showed me how to deal with scary things,” Luna wrote.
“You fought cystic fibrosis till your last breath. I will never forget this in my life,” Luna concluded the note. It is a disease that seriously affects the lungs and other organs. Kerala Blasters condoles the death of Luna’s daughter.
