David Jackson bid farewell to Quimper

His season officially ended due to his back injury (which resulted in leg and ankle pain), David Jackson will leave Quimper to join his wife and second child in Poland. Before that, the back witnessed the victory of UJAP once morest Elan Chalon (92-86) on Tuesday evening. It was thus an opportunity for him to say goodbye to the public, following almost three years spent at the club marked by two great first campaigns.

“I had a real period of sadness, he admitted in West France when reconsidering his decision to end his playing career. It’s better now. I will start a new day of my life. But this decision was difficult to make. I looked at myself in the mirror and told myself that I still had a lot to give. But at the same time, I came to the room, and I mightn’t even walk…”

From now on, David Jackson will devote himself to coaching in Poland. With perhaps the hope of returning to Finistère. “As I was able to tell the president, I would love to come back to coach here,” concluded the man who helped coach Laurent Foirest with the preparation of the matches.
