Davis said Cesar Emilio Peralta felt “disrespected” for something he did David Ortizand for that reason he ordered an operation against him and put a price on his head.

Cesar Peralta confirmed that he shot Ortiz. “Peralta said he shot David,” Ed Davis said after multiple officers had a meeting with Peralta.

David Ortiz He clarified that he felt somewhat sad and disappointed after learning that the one who wanted to end his death was nothing more and nothing less than Cesar Emilio Peralta. Ortiz had said several times that he never had any problems with Peralta and that they even lived nearby in Santo Domingo.

Ortiz hired ED Davis in 2019 because he was still concerned about the investigation being carried out by Jean Alain Rodríguez, who was a prosecutor in the Dominican Republic at the time and is also in jail today.

The Dominican authorities did not do what was needed at the time to find the culprit, even Ed Davis pointed out that Cesar the Abuser was fully protected by a large political force.
