In the first singles match was the competition of tennis player Pham Minh Tuan of Vietnam team and tennis player Rifki Fitriadi of Indonesia. However, Minh Tuan lost to his opponent with a score of 0-2.

In the next games, not keeping his form for longer, Pham Minh Tuan was “captured” and temporarily lost to his opponent in the first set with a score of 6-3.
In the second set, Minh Tuan played quite quietly, he won the first game. After that, the Indonesian opponent continuously scored points, making Pham Minh Tuan unable to maintain a stable mentality along with his physical decline, he had few effective attacks and many errors. At the end of the second set, Pham Minh Tuan lost to Rifki Fitriadi with a score of 6-1.

In the 2nd singles match between the 1st seed of Vietnam team Ly Hoang Nam and Indonesian tennis player Ignatius Anthony Susanto, Hoang Nam had an impressive match. He played brilliantly and quickly won the opponent with a score of 2-0 (set 1: 6-0; set 2: 6-3).
Entering the match, Ly Hoang Nam chose for himself an active style of attack to overwhelm the opponent, constantly putting difficult phases to make the opponent struggle to “defeat” but not be able to attack.
From the beginning of the match to the end of the game, Hoang Nam played quite stably, often using “hit” to drop the ball, pull the opponent into the net and then attack to push the ball deep to make the opponent move a lot on the field. At the end of the first set, Hoang Nam absolutely won all 6 games with a score of 6-0.
In the second set, although playing with good technique, was rated higher than the opponent, but Hoang Nam lost many points due to the error of serving. Therefore, after winning consecutively in the first 3 games, in the 4th game, he let the opponent score and win.
At the end of the second set, Hoang Nam won with a score of 6-3.
