“Days of Resistance Cinema” in Damascus: artistic and cinematic performances

Under the patronage of the Syrian Minister of Culture, Lubana Mushawah, the Syrian General Film Foundation, in cooperation with the “Lebanese Association of Arts” (Resalat), will hold the “Resistance Cinema Days” event, from September 19 to 22, at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts” (Damascus Opera House).

In its opening, this event hosts a group of artists and actors from Lebanon and Syria, as it aims to “shed light on the resistance of the Zionist and Takfiri enemy, and on the Palestinian cause, especially that arts are among the most eloquent languages ​​in expression and support for causes, through a group of films from Lebanon and Palestine.” Syria, Iraq and Iran,” according to the organizers.

The opening of “Days of Resistance Cinema” includes an orchestral musical segment, presented by the “Syrian National Band for Arab Music”, and a screening of the short film “I fell”, a 14-minute scenic artwork that simulates the fall of “Tel Aviv”, which was prepared and produced by 150 international and Arab artists. With the participation of a group of Lebanese and Syrian artists, to present what befits Palestine.

In addition to a screening of “The Buried Secret”, a Lebanese film directed by Ali Ghafari, written by Reda Iskandar and Mahmoud Gholami, which deals with a true story about a Lebanese mother who resisted the occupation and defeated it with patience over the harm of her family, because of the mystery of the martyrdom of her son, who hid his secret for 15 years, and endured The torment and suffering of her children detained by the Israeli occupation.
