First Women’s U-19 T-20 World Cup announced The World Cup will be held in South Africa from January 14 to 29 next year. Competitions are held in Benoni and Potchefstroom. India are in Group D along with South Africa, Scotland and UAE.
Australia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and USA are in Group A. England, Pakistan, Rwanda and Zimbabwe will play in Group B, while New Zealand, West Indies, Ireland and Indonesia will play in Group C. This is the first time that Rwanda and Indonesia are participating in any ICC tournament.
The first match is between Australia and Bangladesh on January 14. South Africa will face India on the same day. The semi-finals will be held on January 27 and the final on January 29. January 30 is the reserve day in the finals.
