It was during the pre-show of Game Awards what Motion Twin revealed the next DLC of Dead Cells. And it’s not just any DLC, because it’s neither more nor less than the biggest crossover which fans of the game could hope for, a crossover with Castlevania !
If the gender metroidvania bears this name, it is good because Castlevania is one of the series that built the genre. But if it was already unlikely to see crossovers with independent games, it was even more unthinkable to imagine a crossover with Castlevania.
Appointed Return to Castlevaniathe DLC will feature two new biomes in the dracula’s castlebefore reaching the Throne Room to challenge him. Richter Belmont et Alucard will come to lend a hand to help you in your quest. And of course many objects, 14 weapons, and 20 outfits from the universe Castlevania will enrich the game even more.
Re les Boss (yes, I said them), there will be three of them. With a fight against the deathand of course Dracula. But a third Boss will also be available under certain conditions.
Finally, music level we will be spoiled. It is not less than 51 original music who will accompany you during the game. And if you find that it was not enough, 12 iconic tracks will be included in the style Dead Cells.
Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is planned for the first quarter 2023 on Nintendo Switch.
