A nurse was found dead last night at the José María Regional University Hospital Cabral and Baezfrom the city of Santiago de los Caballeros.
Leydi Almánzar, 48 years old, was assigned to the outpatient surgery area of the hospital.
The woman was found dead in one of the clinics of the outpatient building, by one of the agents of security at the time of routine nightly supervision.
Members of the Public Ministry and agents of the National Police investigate the finding. They presume that it was a suicide.
The body was sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF), in this city, for autopsy purposes.
Dr. Bernardo Hilario Reyes, director of the hospital, lamented the death of the nurse. He expressed his condolences to the relatives.
