Vincent LABRUNE, President of the Professional Football League
“Nicolas Holveck was a respected leader, appreciated by all throughout his career. Above all, from my point of view, he was an avant-garde and visionary leader in his approach, undoubtedly one of the strongest of his generation. Finally, he was a man of great values of friendship, honesty and ethics. After a long fight against his illness, his death is a terrible shock for the entire world of professional football of course, but also for his family, his wife, his children to whom he was so close and whom we accompany in our thoughts. On behalf of all French professional football, I send all my condolences to the family and loved ones of Nicolas Holveck, as well as to AS Nancy-Lorraine. »
