Debunking Fake Release Dates for Demon’s Souls Remake and Ghost of Tsushima on PC

A new rumor has surfaced online, allegedly revealing the release dates for Demon’s Souls Remake and Ghost of Tsushima on PC. However, this is fake. Moreover, it is not difficult to refute it.

For starters, just look at the “leaked” image

First, Demon’s Souls is copyrighted by SIE Inc. (Japanese division of Sony) and not the American division of SIE LLC. Moreover, there is no copyright on “Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut”, only “Ghost Of Tsushima”. You can go to the game’s page on the PS Store and see for yourself.

However, perhaps the most obvious fact that the rumor is false is the release date of Demon’s Souls Remake. July 29 – Saturday. No self-respecting company will release a game on a Saturday.

So someone just made an ugly picture overloaded with details to shake up the gaming community.

However, this does not mean that Demon’s Souls Remake and Ghost of Tsushima will not be released on PC. After all, both of these games were leaked on NVIDIA’s GeForce Now list. So both of these games, as well as some other PlayStation exclusives, may yet make it to the platform, but only when Sony gives the green light.
